Sarah Jane (SJ) Murray is an Irish-born academic and EMMY-nominated screenwriter and film-maker who lives and works in the United States. She is also known for applying her story skills to high-end corporate and non profit strategy. SJ graduated with honors from Auburn University with a BA in French and Philosophy. She studied at the École normale supérieure de lettres et sciences humaines in Lyon before earning her PhD from Princeton University, where she received the Porter Ogden Jacobus Prize as outstanding student of the graduate school.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Top undergraduates, graduate students receive awards )〕 She later studied screenwriting at UCLA under chairman Richard Walter (writer) and teaches regularly on story design, literature, leadership & creativity, and film making at Baylor University as an "Associate Professor of Great Texts and Creative Writing".〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Great Texts: Dr. Sarah-Jane Murray )〕 She is the recipient of awards and fellowships from the American Philosophical Society and NEH.
